Pizzeria "Southern Ice" was conceived as a cozy and modern space that perfectly combines with the infrastructure of the sports complex. The complex includes three ice fields, a children’s gymnastics center and a fitness center.
The main goal was to create a place where visitors can relax after active sports activities while enjoying delicious pizza in a relaxed atmosphere.
The space of the pizzeria is 280 m², of which 167 m² is occupied by the guest room and 45 m² by the open kitchen. The hall is designed without partitions, but the seating for 84 seats is divided into several zones. The central dominant feature is a concrete area with small marble tables, creating a sense of privacy and convenience for working or relaxing with a coffee.
The triptych on the wall by Varya Shchuk is not just a decorative element, but an important part of the pizzeria concept. It ties together three key themes: the atmosphere of Rome, the theme of food and the sporting life that boils in the neighbouring halls. The shape of the arches, sculptural lines and rich colours of fruit and pastries symbolise the combination of tradition and modern culture.
MATERIALS
The interior of the pizzeria uses traditional materials such as concrete and marble, which contrast with the modern paintings by artist Varya Shchuka that adorn the walls. This contrast gives the room a unique character, making it both stylish and cozy.
