The main objective of the project is to create a balanced space where public and private areas do not overlap either physically or visually. The layout is organized in such a way that traffic flows and noise levels are separated as much as possible. 

The central part of the apartment is occupied by the kitchen-living-dining room, separated from the private areas by a long corridor. The apartment has two full bedrooms: a master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom, and a second bedroom that can be used as a guest room or office. 

There’s also a kids’ room closer to the living space, with large windows overlooking the garden and playground. The plan also includes a utility room with laundry, two bathrooms, and a coat closet at the entrance.

INTERIOR

The interior is built around a calm, natural palette: warm whites, soft greys, beige tones, and textured wood. The approach is simple—clean lines, open views, and no visual noise.

At the heart of the apartment sits an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The kitchen is intentionally dissolved in space — the cabinetry matches the tone of the living room shelving. The countertop, backsplash, and island are all done in light marble. The island has been custom-designed, and the same marble flooring visually divides the kitchen from the living room.

In the living space, there’s a modular Let it Be sofa by Poltrona Frau — comfortable, flexible, and perfectly scaled. Over the dining table hangs the Crystal Evo pendant light by Henge and technical lighting by Aledo.

The master bedroom features a more muted and darker palette — deep beige and grey tones, layered textures and soft fabrics. A custom-designed wardrobe system helps to keep things organized.

The room connects to the bathroom through a semi-transparent glass walk-in closet. This adds visual depth and keeps the space feeling light.

The second bedroom is designed in a lighter palette. Beige shades and soft fabrics prevail. The space can be used as a guest bedroom or as a private bedroom for one of the spouses. There is also an individual closet system.

Opposite the bedroom is a guest bathroom. In the bathroom, the space is decorated with a stone countertop with two sinks. All materials match the tone of the rest of the apartment — natural stone, warm lighting and a calm color scheme.

The children’s room is closer to the public part of the apartment. The room has a bed, a work area by the panoramic windows overlooking the garden, a spacious full-wall closet and a Swedish wall accented in orange. The room is designed to be adaptable to the changing needs of the children.

For comfortable operation, the apartment is equipped with a smart home system responsible for ventilation, heating, lighting and security.

We worked on this project for almost three years. Some of that time was spent on seasonal work, but most of it was spent fine-tuning every detail. There is nothing temporary here — all the structures are timeless, robust and designed to last.
